  2. TIE (Theatre In Education) • We started by looking into TIE • We found that most companies work with subjects like anti-bulling rather than the national curriculum. • We found that companies that do use the national curriculum tend to create performances for the children rather than with them

  3. Paradox Theatre • Touring company • Shows on science and environment-links to the workshop we attended • Specialises in funny educational shows for primary school children • Their aim is to help pupil’s learn without them realising as they are having fun whilst doing it

  4. Inspiration taken from Paradox • We would also like children to actively engage with learning in a fun way • We want to show that learning can be interactive and tailored to the individual’s needs • However unlike Paradox we want to create a performance with the children rather than for them. We see this as a gap in the market and our opportunity to create new exciting work with children for their academic benefit
