P^3 Consortium - Technological BackgroundWe aim at developing improved additives for the plastics industry additive • The Challenge: • In polymeric matrix un-controlled migration of low molecular weight additives leads to loss of activity and performance migration • Our goal: developing generic technologies for controlling the migration of additives • Can be applied to various polymers • For versatile applications: Packaging & food packaging, non woven fabrics, coating boards • Our model additives: UV blockers, anti-fogs, anti-microbial @t>0 @t=0
