Join us for a workshop on February 26-27, 2004, led by Candace Jones, RDH, MPH. This event aims to foster creative solutions for dental public health workforce challenges through collaborative planning. Stakeholders will discuss innovative approaches to address workforce shortages and create a national action plan. Short-term outcome is to secure commitment from key organizations to implement the plan, while the long-term goal is to expand the capacity for recruiting diverse dental professionals and reducing oral health disparities among underserved populations. Workshop Goal • Establish a forum for discussion that promotes: • Creative approaches to addressing dental public health workforce and infrastructure issues • Collaborative, coordinated planning.
