It contains case notes, news clips, amicus briefs, articles published in School Law in Review, Inquiry & Analysis, Council monographs, and the School Law Practice seminar notebooks. Search by keyword, category, title, author, or case name.

  18. Legal Clips The National School Boards Association's Office of General Counsel offers Legal Clips via e-mail. This service provides participants with weekly updates on important and interesting school law issues.

  21. Council Member Directory Notes An abbreviated version of the Council member directory, “Find a School Attorney,” is available to the public. However, you can update your membership record. Select "areas of practice" that you want associated with your name, tell the Council that you want to be more involved by serving on a committee, writing briefs, writing articles, making seminar presentations or speaking to the media. Or, remove your name from the directory! Complete your profile! Just click “Update my information” Find COSA members by state Find COSA members by area of practice

Leadership Insider Notes Leadership Insider is a newsletter for decision makers that contains in-depth articles on a wide variety of current and provocative policy and school law-related topics. It is published by NSBA for school districts that are members of the NSBA National Affiliate program and distributed as a supplement to School Board News. Also included here are past editions of Inside School Law.

  33. Member Document Sharing Notes This web service allows Council of School Attorneys members to upload and share documents with other COSA members. The material you upload will become part of the searchable COSA database, and once placed in the database can be replaced, edited or deleted by the person submitting it. To get started, just click on the "Add New Document" button below terms of use.

  34. Member Document Sharing Notes cont’d There are three (3) steps in the process of sharing documents: Step 1: enter data describing the document (document properties) Step 2: upload document content Step 3: assign keywords to the document (to help others find documents)

  35. Member Document Sharing Notes cont’d After submitting the document a message will indicate the document has been saved successfully. Your new document will be listed below the terms of use on the document sharing page. You may edit or delete documents at any time. Once a document is saved, other members will be able to access it in the COSA database.
