Report Writing • When write your report, you must paid attention on how your report is being marked and judged • Evaluation grade from BBA manual: • Executive summary/ Abstract 5% • Problem development/objectives 7% • Methodology 11% • Analysis and Findings 16% • Discussion and Recommendations 16% • Presentation 10% • Total 65% • Ask yourself that how many marks that you would be expected for each category in according to how you written them • Formats to write your report (to p3) (to p1)

Code of references • Three major ways: • Coded as an implication • MIS system has now serving as a platform to the effective implementation of supply chain management (Laudon and Laudon, 2005) • Coded as fact findings • Chow (2004) investigates the use of MIS in supply chain and identifies four critical success factors to their applications • Coded as a statement • Zwass (1996) defines e-commerce as “is the sharing of business information, maintaining business relationships, and conducting transactions by means of telecommunications networks, …… (it) includes the sell-buy relationships and transactions between companies, as well as the corporation process that support the commerce within individual firms”. Important points • Timing: • You have only 15 mins for presentation • Use 1-2 mins for intro • Use 1-2 mins to tell about relevant literature • Use 2-3 mins to tell about model development & hypotheses • Use 2 mins to reveal your findings • Use 3 mins to discuss its implication • Use 1-2 mins to sum up your conclusion with limitations • You don’t have to use all materials in your reports thus you need to choose your choices wisely • Q/A: listen and understand the Qs before answering (to p1)
