PLATEA-People AIMS • Enhancing the exchange of information, knowledge and people among universities, technological-scientific centres and steel industries. • Devolopment of actions to attract and retain qualified professionals into the steel sector. • Generation of knowledge networks and clusters. PLATEA-People HOW TO ATRACT AND RETAIN QUALIFIED PEOPLE • Enhancing the practical work of students in steel factories. “The professional passport”. • Financial contribution for grants, final projects and reseach works. • Promoting temporary exchanges between the staff from universities and steel companies. • Sponsoring research projects and research works on strategic fields.

PLATEA-People COLLABORATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES AND INDUSTRIES • Profesional demand analysis in the medium and long terms. • University curricula analysis to match them with labor needs. • Development of specific studies for the steel sector, like Postgrades or other especialized courses or degrees. • Development of joint actions to attract students to technical studies.
