  3. WHAT IS MY EYE BALL MADE UP OF..? CONES-VISUAL RECEPTORS INVOLVED IN COLOR VISION. RODS-VISUAL RECEPTORS THAT RESPOND TO DEM LIGHT IRIS-THE MUSCLES THAT GIVES COLOR TO A OBJECT. CORNEA- PROTECTS THE EYE AND BENDS INCOMING LIGHT RAYS TOWARDS THE LENS RETINA- CONTAINS THE RECEPTORS FOR VISION. FOVEA- WHERE VISION IS SHARPEST CONTAINS PRIATELY, CONES. LENS- SUBTLY CHANGING ITS SHAPE, BECOME MORE OR LESS CURVED TO FOCUS LIGHT FROM OBJECTS THAT ARE CLOSE BY OR FAR AWAY PUPIL- A ROUND OPENING SURROUNDED BY THE IRIS. THAT DILATES OR CONTRACTS DEPENDENG ON THE LIGHT. OPTIC NERVES-TRANSMITTS ELECTRICAL IMPULSIS FROM THERETNIA TO THE BRAIN.

  5. HUE~ THE DIMENSION OF VISUAL EXPERIENCE SPECIFIED BY COLOR NAMES AND RELATED TO THE WAVELENGTH OF LIGHT. A COLOR OR SHADE BRIGHTNESS (VALUE)~ THE DIMENSION OF VISUAL EXPERIENCE RELATED TO THE AMOUNT (INTENSITY) OF LIGHT. SATURATION~ VIVIDNESS OR PURITY OF COLOR; THE DIMENSION OF VISUAL EXPERIENCE RELATED TO TH COMPLEXITY OF LIGHT WAVES.

  6. HOWWESEECOLOR THE TRICHOMATIC THEORY~ A theory of color vision which states that three primary colors may be chosen in such a way that, combined in various proportions, they can match any color. THE OPPONENT-PROCESS THEORY~ A theory of color perception that assumes that the visual system treats pairs of colors as opposing or antagonistic.

  7. This is called an aftereffect. Staring at the heart overstimulates your eyes' photoreceptors, which are what absorb the light that stimulates vision. So even after you look away from the image, your brain is still receiving messages about it. What you end up seeing are called complementary colors. Red and blue are complementary colors of green and yellow.

  13. TASTE OCCURS BECAUSE CHEMICALS STIMULATE THOUSNDS OF RECEPTORS IN THE MOUTH. THESE RECEPTORS ARE LOCATED ALL THROUGH OUR MOUTH. PAPILLAE~ THE MANY BUMPS ON YOUR TONGUE THAT CONTAIN YOU TASTE BUD. TASTE BUDS~ NESTS OF TASTE-RECEPTOR CELLS

  16. OLFACTORY NERVES- CARRIE THE SMELL SIGNALS TO THE BRAIN. THIS HELPS US RECOGNIZE SMELLS ALL OF THESE HELP OUR SENCE OF SMELL. 

  17. RECEPTORS FOR SMELL ARE SPECILIZED NEURONS EMBEDDED IN A TINY PATCH OF MUCOUS • THE HUMAN NOSE CAN DETECT AROMAS THAT SOPHISTICATED MACHINES FAIL TO DETECT. • SMELLS CAN REACH THE NASAL CAVITY THROUGH THE MOUTH BY WAY OF A PASSAGEWAY FROM THE THROAT.
