Enhancing EMR Usability: A Unified Healthcare Toolkit Interface

The Healthcare Toolkit aims to improve the usability of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by integrating all subprocesses of a medical encounter into a user-friendly interface. Based on human factors engineering principles, it outlines a detailed task analysis for patient management, including activities such as collecting patient information, examining conditions, diagnosing illnesses, determining treatment, and planning follow-ups. Pilot evaluations show positive feedback on usability features, alongside recommendations for additional data visibility and terminological accuracy to enhance the user experience further.
