Injured Passenger Gets Paid The Written Account of the Story: Posted Mon, Oct 25th 2010, 18:49(Grand Cayman - CITN) -   A Texas woman receives a USD $125,000 settlement from Carnival Cruise Lines after breaking her leg on a visit to Grand Cayman. In April, 67-year-old Elizabeth Reimer, who was a passenger on the Carnival Conquest, fell as she was stepping off the tender to the George Town dock.  She needed bolts, pins and metal plates to fix her badly broken limb and finished the cruise in a wheelchair. Her lawyer filed a negligence lawsuit against Carnival, which agreed to the settlement last Thursday. Mrs. Reimer also received a two for one certificate for another cruise, but she says after her ordeal she'd rather stay at home.
