ISOPE-2011 Maui • Frontier Energy Resources Technology (FERT) • Symposium • FirstCALL FOR PAPERS • The 21th International Offshore and Polar Engineering Conference • Maui, Hawaii, June 19 – 24, 2011 • ISOPE Symposium on Frontier Energy Resources Technology (FERT) will focus on the technologies relating to a range of energy sources, including unconventional hydrocarbon resources and sources other than fossil fuels. These sourcesare gaining a great attention,span a wide range of origin and, like fossil fuels, are also not evenly distributed around the world. Technology challenges in commercializing these resources are also different. The purpose of this symposium to provide a timely forum to provide the state-of-the-art knowledge in the business outlook and technology in the development of these resources. The symposium is envisioned to consist of prominent speakers who are leading authorities in the respective fields to discuss the status, issues and challenges in the various types of Frontier EnergyResources.
