  3. Career Beckham made his first appearance for Manchester United's first team in 1922. In 1996 he started playing for England and was given the number 10 shirt. In 1997 he he switched to number 7. In 1996 he was named premier league player of the month / England player of the year in 2003 , Real Madrid player of the year in 2008 . Beckham received best male soccer player award in 2004 . He has played for Man United , Totten ham Hotspurs , Brims down Rovers , Preston North End , Real Madrid , LA Galaxy , AC Milan , Paris Saint German and England.
