SNU’s Efforts for Further Improvement in Internationalization (1) • Signed over 590 academic exchange • agreements and 235 student exchange • agreements with universities and colleges • in 43 different countries Over 1,500 international students studying and 73 foreign faculty members working at SNU at present 716 courses taught in English (138 liberal arts courses, 269 undergraduate core courses, and 309 graduate courses)

  10. SNU’s Efforts for Further Improvement in Internationalization (2)- Worldwide University Ranking - • Placed 50th • in the Times Higher Education ranking Placed 24th in the number of SCI papers published

SNU’s Efforts for Further Improvement in Internationalization (3) • To increase study abroad opportunities for SNU students By 2010 To increase the number of international students and full-time foreign faculty members To increase the number of courses conducted in English To establish international branches for administrative services To raise funds for international students from developing nations
