I n the Us North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. It is mostly grown in the south Takes 27 weeks till harvest

WHERE AND HOW COTTON IS USED • Cotton is the most widely used fiber • Cotton is soft, strong, and absorbent • Used for bed sheets, carpets, and clothing. • There is more than thirty types of cotton • It’s been used more than thousands of years • Most is made by water powered machines • Cotton can hold water
