Characters • Connor is a escaped AWOL who runs the Graveyard, a safe haven for other AWOL’s • Risa is a former ward of the state who was put in a wheel chair in the Happy Jack clapper attack • Lev is a AWOL who was captured unlike Connor in the first book, he lives with his brother Marcus and once a week does work for the government • Marcus is Lev’s brother who takes Lev in when he has nowhere to go • Starkey is a storked child, which means he was just left on the doorstep of a family’s house • Miracolina was a tithe, which means she was raised up to be unwound, but she was captured/rescued by the Cavenaugh Mansion people. The mansion was owned by “Charles Cavenaugh Jr., until he donated the mansion to a trust fund, which was owned by another trust fund, which was laundered through yet another trust fund, which was owned by the Anti-Divisional Resistance • Cam is a “person” made up of all unwound parts, he is made of the best parts of everybody. Ex, a sprinters legs • Nelson is a juvey-cop turned parts-pirate, he was the juvey-cop that was guarding Conner, A.K.A. the Akron AWOL, when Connor escaped • Trace, a kid trained for the air force, but joined the resistance

Plot Line Miracolina is captured by the Cavenaugh Mansion people and brought to the mansion Nelson gives a kid to Divan, the black marketer Starkey is put in charge of food Connor tries, but fails, to kill Trace Starkey is almost captured to be unwound, but he escapes, then is shipped to the Graveyard Starkey gets Connor to set aside one hour a day for storks The right kind of plane comes in for the escape plan to fly out of the Graveyard Connor devises a backup escape plan Risa goes with one kid and Kiana, to the hospital

4. Plot Line (continued) Connor and Hayden find out that the Unwind Accord was not just to end the war, but to take down the teens called the terror generation The hospital says the injured kid, Dylan is dead The hospital works for the Juvenile Authority, and Risa gives herself up instead of Dylan Lev is taken to the Cavenaugh Mansion Risa meets Roberta, who works for Proactive Citizenry, and meets Cam, who is made completely from unwound parts Kiana tells Risa that they went to the same hospital as last time, and Risa goes in a room and see’s Dylan anything but dead A clapper girl scout comes to Lev’s house and blows up Lev’s house, but Lev and Marcus live, but Pastor Dan dies

Plot Line (continued) Starkey decides now is the time to take power from Connor Miracolina and Lev escape from the Cavenaugh Mansion Hayden tells Connor that an attack on the Graveyard is coming Starkey escapes by breaking his wrist Risa is forced to do a commercial for unwinding The Juvies attack the Graveyard, a few minutes later Starkey gives a signal for his stork friends to come onto the Dreamliner, a plane that still works to escape Miracolina and Lev are captured by Nelson Starkey is cuffed and put in “prison”

6. Plot Line (continued) Connor realizes that Starkey escaped, and his backup escape plan falls apart as all the storks get on the plane Trace asks Starkey why Connor isn’t there, when Starkey threatens to shoot him and Trace cooperates The plane takes off as everyone is captured, but a van on the runway takes out their landing gear The plane lands in a lake in Mexico, Starkey kills Trace, and Starkey leads his “army” of storks, thinking about how they will take down harvest camps and do basically everything Connor didn’t Nelson tranq’s Miracolina, but Lev fakes getting hit to live, after they escaped from Nelson and managed to get to the Graveyard Everybody not on the plane are either killed or tranq’d and captured
