CIIDS: Comprehensive Resource for Development of Technical Web Applications

The Center for Internet Imaging and Database Systems (CIIDS) offers comprehensive resources for CAES faculty to develop technical web applications on a cost-recovery basis, supported by fully grant-funded personnel. Our services ensure timely availability, server consistency, and access to programming expertise. We guide the development process through outlining project purposes, identifying user and administrator needs, and addressing security requirements. Once all project details are discussed and agreed upon, our applications are rigorously tested before deployment to ensure functionality and reliability.

  6. Procedures for application development by CIIDS • Develop written outline of purpose for application and how it should work • Describe user (audience) needs • Describe administrator needs • Describe security requirements • Provide or guide graphics development
