  1. The passe compose By: Samano Samano

  2. How to form it • Ok so first you need the pronun • Then you need the helping verb • Last you need the particip passe • So if you want think of it like this • Pronun + helping verb + Particip passe • This will make sense trust me

  3. Con. • Pronun+helping verb+ particip passe • Je avoir/etre er-e • Tu ir-i • Il/ellle re-u • Nous • Vous • Ils/elles

  4. Avoir • Ok so I gave you the basics to how to form it now to know if you use avoir or etre • Avoir is used for normal every day verbs such as manger, dormir, and vendre • So using them in past tense would be like this • J’ai mange. Il a fini, and Nous avons vendu

  5. A little review • Ok so lets take one of those example sentences how about J’ai mange • Je is the pronun. • Avoir is the helping verb. • Mange is the particip passe • See its like the little addition thing

  6. DR.MRS.VANDERTRAMPP • These are the words you need to use etre with, because they don’t go with the rules of avoir • First the words. • Decendre- Decendu • Revenir-revenu • Mourrir- mort • Rentrer-rentre

  7. TRAMPPY verbs continued • Sortir-sori • Veir-venu • Aller-alle • Netre-ne • Devenir-devenu • Entrer-entre • Retourner-retourne

  8. Still continued • Tomber-tombe • Rester-reste • Arriver-arrive • Monter-monte • Partir-parti • Passer-passe

  9. Alright now to put it together • Hmm lets use the verb aller • Ok so it would be, Je suis alle • See to make it easier with these verbs just replace the aoir with the etre that goes with pronoun • BUT with the “tramppy” verbs you have to make them them agree with the pronoun

  10. Making them agree • By making them agree I mean if the pronoun is feminine or not for instance. Elle est alle. This is incorrect to fix it you add another e. so it looks like this. Elle est allee • Now if it is masculine you leave it alone. • If plural ad and s and if plural and feminine add an es.

  11. The refelxive verbs • Well if your at this point and your head hurts you may need some tylenol. • Now these are things you do to yourself or others. Like shaving or washing your hands. • Think of it like this

  12. Con. • Pronoun+refelxive pronoun+ etre+participe passe • Je me suis douche • Tu te est brosse • Il/Elle se ect. • Nous nous • Vous vous • Ils/Elles se

  13. Examples • Je me suis rase • Elle s’est maquille. • Nous nous sommes promenes • You get it right • Also you only make the past participle agree if your talking about a certain body part.

  14. That’s all folks hope you get it lol FIN
