Trophic level- Where an organism belongs in the food chain. Ecological Pyramids. Pyramid of Energy. All energy comes from the sun. Plants use the sunlight to create sugar and oxygen. Plants are called PRODUCERS because they produce their own food from the sun. Some organisms eat the plants.
