  4. Discipline Doing what you should do, when you should do it, whether you feel like it or not.

  5. How do you spend your time? You SHOW people what is really important to you by how you spend your time. “What you DO speaks so loud I can not hear what you say.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

  6. Can people SEE that Arbonne is a priority for you? • Your family? • Your friends? • Your clients? • You???????

  7. Management of selfIt demands consistent willpower and discipline to make the right choice when faced with the option of taking the easy way out. The end result is a sense of increased self-worth and self-esteem. • As you become a person of honor, all things become possible for you. • You feel in control of yourself and the situation.

  8. YOU are the EXPERT on you…everyone else just has to accept who you tell them you are!People accept you based on a your own self-evaluation. If you view yourself as a person of high character, you will treat other people with courtesy, grace and respect. They in turn will treat you as a person of honor and character.

  10. Understand there are CONSEQUENCES to your choices.Good or bad!

  11. 15 minutes of FocusABCDE Method • A = “MUST DO” – Serious consequences for non-completion; • B = “SHOULD DO” – Mild consequences for doing or not doing; • C = “NICE TO DO” – No consequences whether you do it or not; • D = “DELEGATE” – Everything you possibly can to free up more time for those things that only you can do; • E = “ELIMINATE” – Discontinue all tasks and acitivities that are no longer essential to your work and to achieving your goals. • Prioritize: A, B, C, D, E with a 1, 2, 3, 4, etc! (A-1)

  12. Recipe for Success • 6 S’s • Schedule • Sale • Sponsor • Serve • Self Develop • Stay Connected

  13. KEY to Success…Is to SCHEDULE!! • When you have a full SCHEDULE you will get the following: • MORE scheduling! • Sales • Sponsoring • Serving opportunities • Staying connected to upline/success • Self-develop you! • PRIORITIZE this as A-1 until you have 8 PERSONAL on your calendar!!!

  14. Priority A – 1!!!! • A -1: Does my calendar have 8 parties on it? • Nothing else is more important! • Don’t do anything else until you get your 8 parties on the books! • Don’t let “maybe’s” count as a party…you will NEVER get 8 on your books. Call a spade a spade! Book until you get 8 and then when the maybe’s make contact with you or you with them…they get to be 9-14 and you fill up this month and next and so on.

Then…HOSTESS COACH to keep them on your calendar! • Keep it simple only 3-5 people who care about how they look and feel! • This night is for you and your friends…what do you think they would enjoy? • If you are excited, your friends will be excited. • BE GRATEFUL and HUMBLE…I am so excited to spend this time that we have set aside with you…thank you for helping me share this with others! • Let hostess know what is in it for her! • Thank you note letting her know you are looking forward to her night!

Life as a Disciplined Consultant! • A-1 - BE PREPARED (Stay up late and/or get up early)! • Kids off to school. • Me off to work. • Prepped for Arbonne (deliveries & party items in car, list of people to call…potential hostesses, business partners, team, follow up with clients). • Spend time with kids while in the car…play learn & burns or inspirational music, don’t listen to news (protect attitudes)! • Then make phone calls in car to work and home to your parties and back. • Work on lunch breaks.

  17. Put Your Life On Paper! • Write everything down on your calendar: • Faith • Family • Job • Arbonne • PERSONAL ACITIVITY • HELPING TEAM • STAYING CONNECTED

How Do I Do Both Jobs? • DECIDE you are ready to take control of life. • Family meeting discussing life design and what it will take to make it happen. • Everyone pitching in and helping. • Putting priorities in their right place. Clean house AFTER Arbonne so someday you have someone clean your house!

  19. How Do I Do Both Jobs? • Make time by clearing your calendar. • Work in the nooks and crannies/multi-task. Prepared for calls in car, on breaks at lunch. • Kept a growing list of contacts with me 24/7. • Stay focused on WHY’s pictures in car at work. • Do not victimize yourself and think it is harder for you than anyone else. These are only excuses. • Be your own taskmaster by staying connected to your dreams.

  20. I Struggle Because I Stay At Home!! • No one makes your schedule…you have to do it. • You need to get out of your hole. (Chamber of Commerce, church or bible study groups, sports for you or kids, dinner clubs, bunko groups, health club, network marketing groups. • Work when kids are gone or asleep. • Plan for obstacles…babysitters and back-ups. • Don’t be selfish or become a victim…you create victims! • Plan meals in crockpots. • Special toys only when you work Arbonne.

  21. Grass Is Not Greener On The Other Side Of The Fence • Grow where you are planted! • MAKE it a GREAT day. • We all have obstacles, you are prepared to take care of yours. Don’t wish for someone else's problems…you won’t like them either!

Check Your Mindset • Employee Mindset • Only do enough to get by. • Here to collect a commission check when you need one. • Excited when parties cancel and you can “play”? • Not coachable…does not accept help or call and ask for help. • Business Owner Mindset • Personally responsible for success or failure of your business. • Replace cancellations, always reschedule. • Follow recipe with a “no matter what” attitude! • Private victories = public recognition.

  23. NVP UplineUnderstands & Can Help You With YOUR Situations • Don’t look at them and say “you don’t understand because you don’t have to work.” • Ask them what other people have done that were in your situation to still be able to have success in Arbonne.

  26. Challenge for YOU! Get 8 personal parties/get togethers on your calendar by this weekend…not maybe’s…DATES! Read something that will develop your personally and APPLY what you learn! PLUG IN TO ALL CALLS, TRAININGS, MEETINGS, etc… Do this for 90 days and see if your business looks different!!
