Similarity with Europe • Age Distribution - very similar with ageing population (14% - Sutton, 16% EU) and exactly the same working age population (67%) • Significant religious diversity – Largely Christian but important contributions from Judaism, Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism in many of the EU states. • Immigration flow - as in EU, increasing numbers of BME and foreign nationals settling in Sutton
