Definitions • Mixture is made up of different substances that are just placed together. Each substance in the mixture has its own properties. • Compounds always have the same chemical formula. They always have the same elements in the same ratios. • Molecules are an individual piece of a compound • Elements are the building blocks of everything. Each has its own properties.
