RQ2:Do students’ abilities are motivated after receiving English pop songs?use of English pop songs in English teaching motivate • Introduction • Songs are regarded as an essential teaching material in language teaching. • Aim • This present study is to investigate college students’ learning motivation and learning performance toward English pop songs. Method Instrument Participants • Questionnaire was employed in the present study , the question items were modified based on Chen and Chen (2009). • The questionnaire consists of 2 sections: the demographic part and fifteen survey items part which related to the learning motivation and learning performance. • A total of 32 undergraduate students between sophomores to senior university students participated in this present study, including 7 male students and 32 female ones. 2 6 ML condition Experimental group 3 0 TI condition Control group Results & Discussion T-test of gender’s difference of learning motivation The results of learning motivation and learning performance Discussion
