  3. There are three types of business transactions • Exchange of goods • Distribution and transportation of product • Exchange of money • Done between buyer and seller • Exchange of information • Shared between businesses Parts of a Business Transaction

Buy-side • Company that has created a website with the purchase of a product in mind • Sell-side • Company that has created a website in order to sell a product • Metamediaries • Internet-based businesses that make online place for companies to get together and conduct business or find a new business • Consortiums • A group of companies that come together to do business E-Commerce Models
