Integrated Development Environment for Water Resource Site Analysis: SITES Overview

This seminar introduces the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Water Resource Site Analysis, developed by NRCS over 25 years. It includes advancements in spillway erosion technology, jointly created by ARS and NRCS. Attendees will explore core functionalities such as watershed rainfall-runoff, streamflow routing, and reservoir routing, as well as the classification of NRCS dams and spillway rating features. The IDE, updated in January 2006, aims to provide a user-friendly interface for engineers and water resource specialists in dam design and analysis.
