Henry W. Bloch School of Management • Business school established in 1953 • Endowed by Henry Bloch in 1986 • 1749 students in seven degree programs • 1276 undergraduate • 473 graduate
Goals for Advising Session • Provide information about degree programs within the Bloch School • Help you understand how prior credit will apply to degree program and how future classes satisfy requirements • Assist you in registering for fall 2018 classes • More than just helping develop schedule • Connection to campus resources • Help understanding rules and regulations • Provide study expectations

Electives • The number of hours of elective a student will need will vary depending on transfer credit and choices made in fulfilling general education requirements

Track for Graduation • 123 hours for BBA & BS Accounting degrees • On Track/Off Track review after enrollment to help us guide you through program • 15 hours per semester (and one summer class one year) keep you on a path to graduation in 4 years! • Precalculus and Brief Calculus in your first year

Study Expectations **For every credit hour enrolled in, the expectation is you study 2-3 hours outside of class reading, reviewing notes, doing homework and preparing for class.
Bloch School $cholarships • Apply by January 15, 2019, for awards in the 2019-2020 academic year • Check with Financial Aid & Scholarships Office about other opportunities • Check bulletin boards and Bloch newsletter for scholarships
Where in the World are you going? • Faculty-led short-term study abroad opportunities • Visiting business and cultural sites in destination city (or cities) • 3 hours of credit per trip • Satisfies MGT 370/470 requirement • Ideal for students who have not traveled abroad previously
