  3. A gallon of cleaning solution cost $12.00 Freddie needs to buy 6 gallons of cleaning fluid for the year. How much will 6 gallons of cleaning fluid cost?

  4. How to answer? How much does six gallons of cleaning fluid cost? We thought it would be easiest to multiply 12x6. First you do 6x2=12. Second you would carry the one. Then you would do 6x1=6 after that you would add one to the 6 which would be seven. The total answer is $72

  5. Math with Freddie. There is a 20 ft. by 8 ft. floor. We need to figure out how much cleaning fluid needs to be used. One ounce of cleaning fluid will clean 4 sq. ft. How many ounces do we need to clean the 20 ft. by 8 ft. floor?

  6. How to answer? Step 1: 20 ft. x 8 ft. = 160 sq. ft. Step 2: 160 sq. ft. divided by 4 oz. = 40 oz. Step 3: The answer is 40 oz. Freddie needs 40 oz. to clean his floor.
