  2. A plea ’Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace’ • We are united in Christ • But we need to work hard at it! • We need to heed this plea in Church life….

  3. Our services at present 8 BCP Communion 9.15 Family Service 11 Morning Prayer 4 St Margaret’s FM (monthly) 6.30 Evening service ? ?

  4. 4/5 become 3 • Formal reflective service (am) • Informal with traditional elements (am) • Informal with traditional elements (pm)

  5. A contemporary all age service open to all from January 2014

  6. 4.30pm 5 to 6pm 6pm Tea before service Service– accessible to unbelievers and challenging for believers Music group each week Teaching for 5 – 11s Teens stay in Church Prayer ministry each week

  7. ‘We need you!’ ~ Catering team ~ Children’s Team ~ Musicians & singers ~ Readers/ Prayers ~ Stewards & welcomers ~ PA desk & easyworshipoperators ~ Prayer ministry

  8. What about Sunday mornings? • Same pattern as at present • One exception – Need to have greater gap between 9.15 & 11am • Move 11 to 11.15, but ensure service always finishes by 12.15

  10. And now? • As part of the body of Christ, what can you do to help that body to grow and build itself up in love? • Which service is going to be the right one for you to commit to – in terms of your own needs, personal situation and opportunities to invite friends?

  11. And now? • What part might you be able to play in helping the 5pm to get established? • Please think, pray and fill in form and return it over next few weeks… • Come and pray at PowerPoint on 9 October…
