Arctic Craft: Penguin Soap Sculptures

Students sculpted penguins out of soap in this hands-on activity. They sketched the outline with a toothpick, molded with a spoon, and painted beaks with toothpick dabs. Paper wings and feet were attached, eyes painted with marker. Penguins placed near an igloo with soap shavings simulating snow.

  1. Projecto Latitude60 Actividade n.º 5 – Pinguins em sabonete Os alunos tentaram esculpir pinguins em sabonetes. Desenharam o contorno com um palito. Depois, com uma colher moldaram. Pintaram dois bocadinhos de palito para fazer o bico. Os pés e as asas foram feitas com papel de lustro. Os olhos pintados com marcador. Colocaram os pinguins junto ao iglu e a neve é formada pelas aparas dos sabonete.
