Peer to Peer (P2P) Communication NT3xx NT3xx • Peer to Peer (P2P) Communications • The NS1000 automatically establishes peer-to-peer communication between • P2P compatible IP extensions (i.e., NT3xx and UT series) belonging to the same P2P group. Non-P2P Path Ethernet P2P Path P2P Path P2P Path UT UT By using Peer to Peer mode, it is possible to: - Potentially reduce network wide traffic to the PBX - Improve voice quality for P2P calls (By using G722 codec – Only supported for P2P calls) NB: For P2P communication to be possible, there must be an IP Route between devices.

  32. 4-2. Option Modules 4.5 NT Option Modules – 12 Key (NT303) and 60 Key (NT305) Add-On Modules – Fitting The NT303/305 modules are fitted to the rear of a compatible PT via a flexible cable. NT303 1. Remove the cable cover 2. Insert the flexible cable in the Left Hand slot. 3. Insert the screws. NT305 4. Re-fit the cable cover NB: No additional programming is required when fitting an add-on key module.

Remove the screw covers. 4. Fit the USB Module. 3. Remove the plastic cover. 5. Re-fit the plastic cover, screws and screw covers.

Enter program number ’66’ 3. Press the ENTER key 1. Press the PROG Softkey.

Option Modules • 4.8 NT Option Modules – Bluetooth Module (NT307) – Fitting (Cont..) • Registering a Bluetooth Headset (Cont..): • A Flexible key on the PT can then be assigned as a ‘Headset’ key. • Pressing this key switches between headset and normal operation. • The BT Module supports Answer/Terminate call functionality only. Executing 0000 Enter Pass Key EXIT CLEAR NEXT EXIT CLEAR NEXT 6. The Headset will then ‘Pair’ with the PT. 5. Enter the Pass Key of the BT Headset. (Check the Headset manual for the correct key) 4. Place the BT Headset into Registration Mode. (Check the Headset manual for how to do.) NB: The PT cannot control the Headset volume, you must use the controls on the BT Headset itself.

PSN does not accept responsibility for any problem resulting from using these headsets.
