  1. How New Network-Wide Android Notifications of Chromecast can be Removed?

  2. In order to unify all the devices Google has added a new feature to the google Home app. If someone is using your Chromecast Setupfor streaming something, then it will send notifications to all the Android devices on your network. That means if your daughter Is watching My Little Pony all the day, then you will need to deal with the notifications letting you know.

  3. This can be useful, but it’s annoying. The notifications allow them to not only pause and mute the stream, but also close it altogether. Allowing other people to have the control of My stream is really annoying. But this gets more annoying is they don’t understand that what to do with this notification. Fortunately, there is a way to turn it off. The downside of this way out is that it need to be done on each Android device. There are two ways of getting rid of this notification: one is from the notification itself and from the settings menu: or you can also take Chromecast Support:

  4. Disabling Notifications from Notification Shade Follow these steps to turn off or disable the notifications from notifications shade or you can also step ahead to Google Chrome Cast Setup. • With an active cast going, pull down the notification shade to expose the casting to entry.

  5. By default, there are three entries: pause, mute, and close. But if you pull down on the notification with two fingers or tap the header entry, which shows what service is being casted; an option will appear: a settings cog. Click on that little guy. • This menu is simple and only has one option: show remote control notifications. Toggle it off. • Like magic, the cast entry will disappear, never to be seen again unless you want it again.

  6. Disabling notifications from settings • But what if you just want to turn the notifications off without having an active cast? Fortunately, there is simple way of doing this also, but it is not where you would think it should be. • Instead of being in the Google Home app, the core setting is actually found in Android’s Settings menu. Follow these steps for disabling or turning off the notifications from Android’s settings menu or you can also take help by navigating to Google Com Chromecast Setup:

  7. So, go ahead and pull down the notification shade and click on the icon. • From here scroll down to the personal section and find the Google entry. Click on this entry. • In this menu search out for the option of Google Cast, then click on this option.

  8. Again, this is the toggle that you are looking for, slide it to disable the cast notification. • If you ever want this feature back, then this is the place where you will reactivate it. • You can navigate to Google Com Chromecast Setupin case of any difficulty or query.
