  7. What is ILT? Who can attend? Vision: is to Strengthen Scouting in our Region and our respective National Scouting Organizations (NSO) through a collaborative effort of sharing, networking and support. What/When: 6 day course, late December/Early January Intended Audience: Age 18-26, selections made by each NSO, 2 participants per NSO

  8. When did it begin and why? In 2013 in Houston - Texas delivered the first Interamerican Leadership Training with 68 participants from every National Scouting Organization (NSO) in the Interamerican Region. ILT is intended to help build capacity in the region by training emerging leaders in leadership skills that would enable them to become more effective leaders within their NSO

Stats • 343 participants since 2013 • 18 NSO have developed their Leadership course • 11 NSO have executed up to two leadership courses • 4 NSO have executed more than two leadership courses • Other Regions around WOSM have sent participants to ILT who have returned to their NSOs and initiated their own leadership training courses

  31. PATROL-CENTRIC REGISTRATION Have a few, but can’t fill an entire patrol? Your patrol will be required to commit to accept provisional Scouts in order to fill open slots. PARTIAL PATROL

  32. PATROL-CENTRIC REGISTRATION Want to go, but don’t have a patrol to join? Sign up as provisional to be added to a patrol when slots are available. PROVISIONAL
