Daniel Carter, born on March 5, 1982, is a prominent New Zealand rugby player known for his outstanding skills as a fly-half. He began playing rugby at age 5 and made his professional debut in 2002. INTRODUCTION • I will talk about Daniel Carter, a New Zealand rugby player • I know about him a few years later that i started playing rugby • I think that he is a great player and a leader for his team and this is what I like from he.
DAN CARTER • He was born 29 years ago in New Zealand, the 5 of March in1982. • He has played rugby since he was 5 years old • He’s 94 kg weight and he’s 178 cm height • He describes himself like a shy and quiet young man with a lot of aspirations
CAREER • He has played as fly-half since he started playing semiprofesional rugby, and currently he is probably one of the best fly-half ever. • He made his profesional debut in professional rugby in 2002. • One year later, in June 2003, Carter made his All Blacks debut at the age of 21 in Hamilton, New Zealand, scoring 20 points against Wales. • He have won 20 diferents chamionship in differents competitons (S14, 3N, NPC..), but he also have won a few individual awards since 2004.
INTERNATIONAL • He has played in New Zealand international team since he was 21 years old, and he played 2 RWC, in the first his team was beaten by France in ¼ final, and in the current WC they are in the finals, but he won’t be able to play because he injured his leg. • On 30 July 2011 he advanced Jhonny Wilkinson to 1,204 points in the first tri-nations match of the 2011 series against South Africa. • He has scored a total of 1,250 test points in 85 international matches.
PERSONAL LIFE • In November 2006, he released a book entitled Dan Carter: Skills & Performance. It included stories about his relatively brief international rugby career as well as a chapter on skills for younger players. • In October 2010, he got engaged to his longtime girlfriend but marriage plans have not yet been made.
