  2. Girls State Check List • Ask your 2014 Girl Stater to come and share her experience with you Unit early in the year • Think of creative ways to raise funds for your Unit. So you have the funds available for your Girls State Program. • Check with your Unit Treasurer to be sure all quotas have been paid to Department and Girls State Registration Fee have been sent to Department. • Make sure you have your online registration cards for delegates and alternates in hand before selecting your Girl Stater. This is a new process so please make sure you and your Girl Stater understand how to register online. You will give your delegate and alternate information on how to register on line. This will need to be into Department by March 12, 2015.

Inform your delegates and alternates of the Orientation schedule it is vital that they go to an Orientation, if they can’t attend your Orientation in your District please help the delegate or alternate find another District to go to. Please make sure you stay in contact with your delegates Call delegates and alternates to check their status Make sure your delegates haven’t changed their minds See the Girls off at the Bus stop and wish them well Don’t forget to give your delegates a little spending money We like to see the girl in the Girls State Store ALWAYS REMEMBER GIRLS STATE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO COME TO GIRL STATE IF YOU CAN VOLUNTEER 12 DAYS OF YOUR TIME PLEASE SEND YOUR APPLICATION INTO DEPARTMENT THIS WILL BE THE GREATEST TIME IN YOUR LIFE SO IF YOU HAVE A FEW DAYS YOU CAN GIVE PLEASE COME GIRL STATE NEEDS YOU!!!!!!!! • JUST REMEMBER GIRLS STATE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!! • THAT’S WHY WE DO IT.
