The work based and placement learning association • Educational charity run by work-based learning practitioners for work-based learning practitioners • The leading organisation in the work-related learning and placement sector, providing independent strategic leadership to it • Founded over 30 years ago • Represents over 1300 academic and administrative staff at more than 90 HEIs • ASET was established to advance the prevalence, effectiveness and quality of work based and placement learning in Higher Education and by promoting and publishing research into that system of education
