Conducted in Tirana, Sofia, and Veliko Tarnovo, these seminars engaged over 60 teachers from various countries, including Albania, Bulgaria, and Serbia. Participants explored how to incorporate family stories and community narratives into lessons, fostering a more interactive and engaging history education. The goal was to share experiences and encourage the use of Oral History in classrooms, enhancing citizenship education and historical awareness.

What is “Oral History”? *Teaching method becoming more popular in many European countries in subjects like history, geography, civil education etc. *Students are asked to bring the family stories and explore the local community, to find resources and information from witnesses of historical events.
