  2. Organizing What I’ve Learned • There are 4 further lessons on tsunamis • Each lesson is meant to help you organize, analyze and evaluate the information you have gathered • Complete all 4 tasks to the best of your ability. • They may be completed in any order.

LESSON 5 TSUNAMI PRESENTATION • Plan the format of your presentation • Create a power point considering two aspects: the information and the design • Include notes to help you verbally give the presentation. • Make design decisions and information decisions. • Review your work with the teacher or peers. • Power Point Help

LESSON 6 CREATE AN EMERGENCY PLAN • What can you do before a tsunami hits? • What will you need during and after the tsunami? • What is your evacuation plan? • What role does the economy play in survival? • Write a newspaper advice column on tsunamis and warning systems. • Create a brochure to show people relevant information and the importance of adequate warning systems.

  5. LESSON 7 WAVE DEMONSTRATION • By choosing an appropriate software program, creating a physical model, drawing a complete diagram or other form of representation passed by your teacher, show how a tsunami starts, develops and ends.
