Activity 2 • Half the circle to play A then half B simultaneously (play any combination). • Are you playing together? • All number 1s to move towards centre of circle to perform. • Choose a rhythm and tell everyone which one it is before playing. • Then 2 then 3 then 4. Activity 3 – SILENCE GAME Are you all quiet at the same time? Using body percussion all to sound 4 beats in a bar for 6 bars and then stop. Teacher will count for first 2 bars then all count in head. Did you all stop at same time? Let’s make it harder! Sound 4 beats in a bar for 4 bars - 1 bar rest - then play for 2 bars. You could stand and march on the spot instead of body percussion. Did you all stop at same time? Was this harder? Why?
