  2. Abies alba Abies alba (Silver fir) is a long-living conifer, pyramidal, compact, erect and dense crown, with a low crown base only in isolated individual trees.It needs lots of space and used as a popular Christmas tree.

  3. Abies concolor Its attractive, long, blue-green needles curve outward and upward on branches needs a fresh, well-drained soil. One of the largest abies species that can vary greatly in height, depending on types of soil and rainfall.

  4. Abies fraseri Abies fraseri, also called southern balsam fir and is a small- to medium-size,one of the most popular Christmas trees. Abies fraseri is an evergreen tree that grows on moist, cool slopes on top of the highest of the Appalachian Mountains at a fast rate.

  5. Abies grandis Abies grandis is a large evergreen conifer of narrow, lovely, graceful, montane tree that bark is gray in color and thin when young; thickening and becoming brown with age. Abies grandis, commonly known as the Grand Fir, is a coniferous tree of the Pinaceae family.
