  2. Aims of the course • The course is aiming at the educators in primary care who are involved in teaching at university or practice level.

  3. After the course the participants should… • Know what is medicalisation • Understand the reasons for medicalisation • Know about medicalisation of the start to the end of life • Accept different statements of physicians to the medicalisation • Appreciate pharmacist’ perspective on medicalisation • Value of patients perspective to the medicalisation • Recognize, that medical students and trainees should learn about medicalisation

  4. Teaching methods • During the course • keynote presentations, • group work, • role-play, • fieldwork and • discussions will be held. • Country reports on research in GP/FP will be presented during Saturday morning plenary session.
