I have come to speak to you today to tell you how I, and other people with a learning difficulty like to be treated when we go to the doctors or hospital
We like people to talk to us, not our carers or support workers!
We like to have things explained so we can understand them.
We like to have enough time to explain things.
We like to have enough time for things to be explained to us.
We are the same as everyone else, but sometimes things take a bit longer!
