  3. Admissions • Selective admissions process. • Students who are not retained are reviewed.

  4. Diversity • Developing Post Baccalaureate Certificate • Restructured scholarships • Student Ambassadors Program • On-going training with faculty

  5. Orientation • All first year dental students and junior dental hygiene students are required to attend. • Students are informed of the rules and regulations of the school. • Students are informed of support services.

  6. Relationship and Stress Management Seminar • All Dental and Dental Hygiene are welcome to attend. • Discuss the difficulties of dental school with students and their significant others.

  7. Academic Monitoring • All Multiple Choice Exam Results are tracked. • Target at risk students. • Provide academic support. • Refer students to appropriate resources.

  8. Individual Case Management • Time Management • Study Skills • Personal Issues

  9. Clinical Faculty Mentors • Third and fourth year dental students. • Work with students one-on-one to identify needs .

  10. Academic Standards Committee • Provide support for students on academic probation (earned below a 2.5 GPA). • Provide support for students who have been readmitted into the Dental or Dental Hygiene Program.
