Develop our own equality scheme • Review Person Centred Planning strategies • Make sure that personalisation strategies include person centred planning – service users and carers • Make sure that service users and carers can act as partners in improving healthcare • Make sure that the Joint Strategic Needs Assessments identify housing needs of learning disabilities

  4. Make sure that all young people with special education needs have person centred reviews from ages 14 – 19 • Develop a multi-agency employment strategy • Enable people with LD to build and sustain relationships • Ensure that all agencies are using accessible information • Develop an information strategy to publicise local advocacy

  5. Make sure that local transport plans include people with LD • Identify a Hate Crime lead and engage with local crime and disorder reduction partnerships • Make sure the Board is at the centre of local delivery of key objectives • Review Board membership and working practice
