  1. EM BAGS ALL THE GOALS SPORTS REPORT TLB 3rd Oct 13 Emily 14’ MOTM Daniel Nugent WELLFIELD 1 – 1 TYNTESFIELD Today it was a very wet day making the conditions tricky. Wellfields kit were blue and white while Tyntesfield’s were blue and purple. The first chance came from Kyle France just off target and a further chance came for the Tyns by Em with a shot on target saved by the Wells’ goalie. Wellfield had a number of crosses blocked by Daniel Nugent. Just before the whistle blew for half time Kyle’s shot missed the back of the net by millimetres. The second started off with the Tyns bringing on Jacob and Josh and they took off Ben.C and Dan Finan. The match started with Em scoring the 1st goal for the Tyns, not long after Charlie for Wellfield scored an equaliser. Both team had equal possession and the final score was 1-1 TYNTESFIELD 2 – 2 SPRINGFIELD Emily 12’ 18’ MOTM Jacob With similar conditions to the first match the Tyns played Springfield. Their kit was yellow and black strips (the Bumblebees)! Em’s had an ankle knock which put her on bench for the first half. The sworm of bumblebees flew forward producing their first chance (off target). Daniel blocked another buzzy bees attack. The first half was all about these buzzy bees scoring a goal in the bottom left corner. Robert Tyn’s goalie had no chance! A competitive finish the Tyns at the end of the first half produced shots for Kyle, Jacob and Dan F. The second half started with subs Josh and Em coming on and Kyle and Dan coming off. A great goal from Em soon followed. Mr Rogerson said “an Inspired substitution”. Number 8 for the buzzy bee’s converted their second chance into a goal. A shot from Joel narrowly missed the goal, then in the closing minutes of the game EM scored the equaliser. A minute later EM had 2 shots saved off the line by defenders!
