USAF Air Quality Reporting • Currently the Air Force has active duty facilities in 31 states, with 13 of the 31 having more than one facility • APIMS is in use at 50 of 62 CONUS Air Force bases • APIMS is also in use at 10 Army, 1 Marine and 2 Navy facilities I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e 9

Why Have a Pilot Study? • All 15 facilities potentially involved in the Pilot Study have an annual requirement to perform an Emission Inventory • Mostly comprised of the same data in as many as 5 different formats • In a field-to-field comparison, APIMS demonstrated strong agreement of data elements with each state’s Emission Inventory format and the NEI format I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e 11
