WP 2 – P6 (INRA-France)

This report highlights the activities and outcomes of the Lettuce Accession Regeneration Project in Year 2. It includes the regeneration and storage of lettuce seeds, control of harvest, and notation of descriptors for vegetative characters. The project aims to regenerate 300 lettuce accessions, with 82 already included in Year 1.

Conclusion of the year 2 for P6 • Work still to be done • Activities planned in LeafyVeg project • Copy in ILDB file of the minimum descriptors • Make a CD with photos of the plants at the heading stage if the parters are interested to put them on the ILDB Web site • Storage at -18°C and safety duplication at Warwick of the seeds harvested in 2008 • Other activities LeafyVeg-26November2008
