  1. Introduction The Art of Living is a multi-faceted, not-for-profit educational and humanitarian NGO with a presence in over 140 countries. We are engaged in diverse initiatives aimed at uplifting humanity by bringing peace at the level of the individual, society, nation and the world as a whole.

  2. The Art Of Living Vision The Art of Living vision is to bring about transformation in society by strengthening the individual. The various programs/courses and service projects of The Art Of Living are aimed towards the vision of creating stronger societies.

  3. The Art Of Living Mission The Art of Living Foundation is committed to making life on earth a celebration through the spiritual uplifting of humanity. The dream is to create a One World Family through awareness of commonly shared human values such as joyful service, compassion and love through its multi-cultural and multi-religious programmes. Focus is on two aspects: Personal Development whereby individuals realise their true potential through various workshops offered by the Foundation and Social Development through the various social service activities & projects undertaken by the Foundation.

  4. Founder His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a universally revered spiritual, and humanitarian leader. His vision of a violence-free, stress-free society through the reawakening of human values has inspired millions to broaden their spheres of responsibility and work towards the betterment of the world.

Founder In 1981, HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar established the Art of Living, an educational, and humanitarian Non-Governmental Organisation that works in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Present in over 140 countries, it formulates, and implements lasting solutions to conflicts, and issues faced by individuals, communities and nations.

The Art of Living Courses Basic Course/Part I Program This 20-22 hour programme conducted over 6 days takes us beyond the surface of our thoughts & emotions freeing us to tap the vast reservoir of energy and enthusiasm that lies within. The corner stone of the programme is Sudarshan Kriya, a powerful rhythmic breathing exercise that eliminates toxins and regenerates each cell with life-supporting prana/subtle life force energy. The result is an overall sense of wellbeing at the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual levels of our existence.

The Art of Living Courses Advanced Course/Part II Program The Art of Living Part II course guides one on a journey deeper into one’s self, enabling the spontaneous integration of life, and wisdom. It offers a chance to dive deep into genuine relaxation. We need to rest in order to be more dynamic. However, often we come back from a vacation feeling more exhausted, and in the need of another one.

  8. The Art of Living Courses Advanced Course/Part II Program The Part II course is a vacation in the truest sense of the word. Complete with silence, meditation, seva (service), and celebration, it will help one emerge refreshed, revitalized and invigorated. Often offered in-residence, it includes special meditations that utilize the power of silent awareness, and observation for culturing the system, expanding awareness, and bringing freedom to life. The course is open to those who have already taken the Art of Living Part I workshop, and is spread over 4-5 days.

  9. The Art of Living Courses DSN Divya Samaj Nirman literally translated means creating a divine society. We all have personal barriers, old habits, or inhibitions that hold us back and keep us from fully participating in life. Yet we have a deep desire to be the best we can be – for ourselves, our families, communities & even the world around us. This course provides the first opportunity for the individuals to take more social responsibility & experience the power of one’s inner strength. This course is open to all those who have completed their Art Of Living Part I course.

  10. The Art of Living Courses Sahaj Samadhi Meditation Sahaj means natural, effortless and Samadhi is a deep meditative state of mind. Sahaj amadhi is exactly that – a natural, effortless system of meditation that allows the concious mind to settle deeply into the self. When the mind settles down it lets go of all tension and stress and centers itself into the present moment. Sahaj Samadhi is very easy and enjoyable and regular daily practice can totally transform the quality of your life.

  11. The Art of Living Courses Youth Empowerment Seminar (YES!) YES!+ is a dynamic and innovative program for teens which includes practical tools for releasing stress, techniques for mental focus and concentration, tools for dealing with negative emotions, leadership skills, problem – solving strategies, yoga exercises and community service. Cultivating an attitude of service toward others and feeling empowered to effect positive social change is an essential part of the human values education in the YES! Course. The course is open to young adults between the age of 14 and 18 years.

The Art of Living Courses Youth Empowerment Seminar Plus (YES!+) YES!+ is an innovative and dynamic educational and life skills program that provides young students and professionals the tools to achieve their ideal life with ease and creativity. The YES!+ course both challenges and empowers the students to manage negative emotions and to live life more fully in the present moment, with increased awareness.

  13. The Art of Living Courses Art Excel ART Excel is a highly effective human-values training program for children between 8 and 13 years of age. Through fun and laughter, children learn valuable lessons on how to share with others, work, and play in harmony, & develop a sense of belonging. They become more self-expressive, comfortable, even with diverse groups. After undergoing the program, children demonstrate enhancement of creative skills, improved memory, and concentration, development of leadership qualities, and healthy emotions, clarity of mind and improved interaction with their peers.

The Art of Living Courses Sri Sri Yoga Sri Sri Yoga is acclaimed worldwide for developing intuition, sharpening the intellect, enhancing memory, increased clarity and a blossoming of creativity in one’s life. Sri Sri Yoga is a complete yoga discipline that harmonises the body, breath, mind and soul through a combination of powerful yoga postures, meditation, pranayamas and processes to cleanse the body-mind complex. Sri Sri Yoga is a 10-hour workshop spread over 6 days. It is an ancient wisdom for a healthier, happier and more peaceful way of living.

The Art of Living Courses Nav Chetana Shibir (NCS) Nav Chetana Shibir is a program for the less privileged in society, who, like all of us, can gain a lot from the knowledge of basic breathing techniques, satsangs and values of hygiene and harmony. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ("Guruji") devised this course and Art of Living devotees are doing their best to spread this program to those who would not otherwise have access to this knowledge.Nav Chetana Shibir has been enthusiastically received in the villages and slums, enabling one and all to find more harmony, joy and health.

  16. The Art of Living Courses Youth Leader Training Programme (YLTP) The YLTP focuses on developing confident and dynamic youth leaders (yuvacharya) who in turn are instrumental in implementing the 5H programme (Health, Homes for the Homeless, Hygiene, Human Values, Harmony in Diversity). With the commitment and dedication, communities are becoming self sufficient and self reliant at the grass root level.
