  3. History • There’s never been an independent Maximo user group in the UK • All knowledge was imparted through MRO / IBM and / or ad hoc exchanges • This changed in June 2008 • Set up by users for users

  4. Now we have • Independent user group • Almost 100 members and growing • Committee • Four user members and two IBM representative • Charter • Access to IBM support and technical functions

  5. Your committee • Maxwell Segal – GSH Group • Paul Webb – International Power • Sam Gibson – Northern Ireland Electricity • Michael Stephens – Atkins • Geoff Barratt – IBM - technical • Kirsten Collins – IBM - marketing

  6. Taking things forward • Our committee has met three times • This is our first user meeting • Third party support and funding identified • Meeting topics defined • New IBM Tivoli web site in development • We need your ideas, your input and your feedback

  7. Our Charter • Operated for its members • Sharing of knowledge and experience • Consistent and continuous flow of information • Forum for technical interaction and support from IBM • Mechanism for feedback into IBM’s development process • Opportunities to network nationally and internationally
