  2. Voyage Number 1 • Henry’s first voyage was in the year of 1607. • He worked for a company called the Muscovy. • His main goal as a explorer was to find a Northern passage to Asia. • This time he went to the islands near Greenland.

  3. Voyage Number 2 • His next voyage was in the year of 1608. • He didn’t end up where he wanted once again. • But next time he did know not to go that way.

  4. Voyage Number 3 • His next voyage was in the year of 1609. • He joined the Dutch East India Company. • This time he tried to find a Western route to the Orient. • In July he and his men landed in what is now Nova Scotia.

  5. Voyage Number 4 • His last voyage was in the year of 1610. • He traveled the South tip of Greenland. They entered what is now the Hudson Strait. • Then he traveled to another of the places he named called the Hudson River.

  7. Conclusion1611 His ship got frozen and his crew was forced to spend the Winter there. The crew had a mutiny. He died in 1611 and never completed his quest in life. Henry Hudson is known to be one of the most well known and famous explorers.
