  2. 1: Rocky This is a boxing saga of prominent films written by and starring Sylvester Stallone, who plays the role of Rocky Balboa. The films are, by order of release date: Rocky (1976), Rocky II (1979), Rocky III (1982), Rocky IV (1985), Rocky V (1990) and Rocky Balboa (2006). The films series have made more than $1 billion worldwide.

  3. 2: Remember the Titans This movie is an American sports drama. It is directed by Boaz Yakin and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer for Walt Disney Pictures and was released in 2000. The role of Coach Herman Boone is played by Denzel Washington. The movie centres on the football team of the newly integrated T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia.

  4. 3: A League of Their Own This is a 1992 United States comedy-drama film that is actually a fictionalized account of the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). The movie stars Tom Hanks, Madonna, Lori Petty, Geena Davis and is directed by Penny Marshall.

  5. 4: Rudy Directed by David Anspaugh, Rudy is a 1993 film. It narrates the life of Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger who nurtured dreams of playing football at the Notre Dame University in spite of great obstacles. It was the first movie the Notre Dame administration allowed to be shot on campus since Knute Rockne, All American in 1940.
