Student Health Screening and Support Policy

All health questionnaires undergo medical evaluation before clinical placements. Support provided for physical disabilities, mental health, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, and dyslexia. Health information is confidential and shared only with the Health Team, keeping tutors and placements informed only with consent. Contact the University Nurses at Student Health for inquiries.

FITNESS TO PRACTICE All health questionnaires are assessed by a medical officer before a student can be declared fit for their clinical placements Where health conditions/disabilities are declared including: physical disabilities mental health including, anxiety, depression, eating disorder, self harm dyslexia support will be offered

  2. CONFIDENTIALITY Your health information and health records are kept confidential and restricted to the Health Team This means: Your tutors will not be informed without your consent. Placements will not be informed without your consent. Although we would encourage you to inform your tutors.
