  1. Violence in Baltimore Topic: Child Abuse in Baltimore

  2. Question How does child abuse effect the community?

  3. Introduction Throughout my research I found that every13secs 3 children are abused. This fact shows the consistency of child abuse, 3,000,000 cases of child abuse and neglect were reported this year out of those 2,000 of the children in those case died. However, every situation is different some children endure trauma, some have behavior problems, most will end up being caught in the juvenile system but all go through hard ships and struggles.

  4. The Possible Abuse Cycle

  5. How is this relevant to my community? My question is relevant because child abuse goes on everywhere. Child abuse is a common problem among today's youth. Although there are programs and people set up to help the children in need of support who have been abused some problems and situations can only heal with time. However, if we try to prevent abuse altogether then it will solve a lot of problems in our communities, in our city, and in the county areas of Baltimore.

  6. Research & Data Collection Through this project I’ve collected data and worked in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Word, and Microsoft Power Point. The first stage was to collect data, I collected surveys from 60 people and then analyzed my data. I wrote an introduction using the facts that I got from doing research. One of my more reliable sources are • www.dreamcatcherforabuse.com I found this website through Google all sources will be list at the end.
